Anaheim Garden Walk
I finally have something new to share with my faithful bloggers! It has been a while since my last post so I thought I’d share what I have been working on the last few weeks.
My Uncle Greg works for Excel, a realty holding company in southern California. They have developed a new mall in Anaheim (right next to Disneyland) and needed some pictures of the restaurants. The grand opening for the mall is this month but the restaurants have already been operating. Long story short, my uncle thought I might be interested in taking these pictures and within 24-hours of his call I was on a plane headed to San Diego. Yipee!
I spent two nights photographing the Anaheim Garden Walk, working around palm trees and car traffic in an effort to capture all of its glamour. The next week I sat in front of my computer and narrowed down 410 images to 50 and made them look beautiful. This experience has been incredibly valuable. Not only was shooting buildings (and shooting at night) a fairly new thing for me but working with a business and contracting rights has been quite enlightening. So thank you to my Uncle Greg not only for thinking of me, but also for helping me through my first time through this process! Fortunately Excel has been gracious about letting me use these photographs in my portfolio so I can share them here.

I am at the airport in Austin getting ready to fly home after spending some time with Bob. I just popped in to see the latest and thought I would say hi. I am so proud of your work. It looks fantastic and I understand they intend to buy some of these shots. Good work girl!
These shots are fantastic and I’m sure these vendor’s will really value these images. Be sure to get your money’s worth!
Wow those are fabulous!
